I wouldn't recommend Carmax to anyone due to the cars not being thoroughly inspected before sale. Recently the spark plugs went out which I've only had the car since Spetember and a fuel injection leak along with a bad battery. I also purchased another car about a year ago and the car has water entering the car on passenger side every time it rains which is creating a big out of pocket expense for me that we did not create since Carmax won't repair. Also when emailing the service advisors they are not very responsive at all and don't reply.

I absolutely adore my car! I have the IS 200t Sport. Not only is it stylish but it rides so smooth. The seats are so comfortable, love the safety features and it is great on gas. I downsized from a SUV and had no idea what kind of car I wanted, but when I walked on the lot and seen it, I knew immediately that was the one! I purchased it at a fair price, better than fair. There is nothing that I dislike.

Drives great faster than I thought and very comfortable.

Pros

Reliability: Love lexus and the relaibility that goes with the name is exactly what I wanted.
Cargo Space: Huge trunk storage.
Power: I accidently was going a little over 100mph the day I bought it. On the way home it was later and darker so I did not realize how fast I was going.

Cons

Technology and Entertainment: I dont like the mapping system in the dash display. It has a tendency to mao for the entire state. So it is very hard to use it while driving. I just end up using my phone for turn by turn directions.
Interior Space: My oldest Son is 6'1 so if he is in the front passenger seat there is not a ton of room behind him.
Dashboard: I have owned my car for about 4 months and I still do not know how to use some of the features. It may just be because there are so many levers and buttons I might not ever learn them all. Other than that I love everything about this model.
