Introduced for the 2015 model year, the Lexus NX offers a luxurious alternative to other compact crossover SUVs by packing plush amenities and luxury features in a small yet versatile package. The 2016 Lexus NX-200t gets its motivation from a 2.0L twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder engine backed by a six-speed automatic transmission. This combination offers strong acceleration and excellent overall performance. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but the optional AWD system provides greater peace of mind in bad weather.
The 2016 Lexus NX-200t isn’t the only vehicle in the NX lineup. There’s also an F Sport variant that uses the same engine as the standard NX-200t, but adds a number of exterior and interior upgrades to the picture. The F Sport features a tweaked front fascia, a sport-tuned suspension and a sport-themed interior with contrast stitching and perforated-leather steering wheel. There’s also a hybrid version of the Lexus NX that uses a 2.5L Atkinson-Cycle engine paired with the Lexus Hybrid Drive system.
Instead of traditional trim levels, the 2016 Lexus NX-200t features four options packages and a healthy list of individual options. Some of these available features range from driver’s seat memory controls and perforated leather in place of the standard NuLuxe interior trim to rain-sensing wipers and a remote touchpad for accessing climate and multimedia controls. The 2016 Lexus NX-200t also gives you access to the available Lexus Enform app suite, with features like remote vehicle assistance, navigation assistance and remote locking and start via smartphone app made available when activated.2 3

Reviews for 2016 Lexus NX 200t
Luxurious and Beautiful
This car is absolutely beautiful. The interior is super luxurious. It gets decent gas mileage. It's peppy and fun to drive. The exterior is fun and sporty.
- Styling: Absolutely stunning vehicle
- Seat Comfort: Utter comfort
- Cabin Noise: Super quiet engine
- Cargo Space: Trunk is a bit small
- Technology and Entertainment: The navigation system is clunky
Easy to drive & not too big, but it has plenty of room on the inside. It sits higher than a car, but the inside center console is higher up like a car, with all the buttons easy to reach.
- Cabin Noise: The cabin noise is about 1/2 of my previous car
- Braking: This vehicle drives like a car, but is heavy enough that you have to break like you are driving a truck.
Luxury and reliability at a great price
I wanted an suv (to store bikes), something rock solid reliable that would last forever and a touch of luxury. The NX200t delivers all of it and the process of buying at Carmax was as smooth as it gets.
- Ride and Handling: smooth as butter
- Styling: visually aesthetic body and interior
- Cargo Space: plenty of space for two bicycles
- Fuel Economy: could be higher mpg
