For the money, the 08 Navigator (purchased in 2010) presented great value, performance and comfort, relative to new smaller luxury and upper mid tier SUV's. (We were also considering the Volvo XC90 and GMC Acadia). The automatic folding seats in the back are a huge plus, and the gas mileage is not that much different than many crossover SUV's (about 2-3mpg less). The power difference more than makes up for that, as does the conveneince and comfort factors.

I love my car. It's like riding in a cloud. All the updated gadget's spoil me and could tend to make a person lazy. The sound system is amazing. This car was very well taken care of. However, I'm already experiencing problems with the brakes and I've not put very many miles on it at all. I've asked a brake specialist what he thinks the problem is and he says it's the rotors (sp?). When I come to a stop (redlight, stop sign) it bounces. Also, I attempted to crank my car one day and it simply would not crank. It wouldn't even make a sound. But, since then it hasn't done that again and I've had no more problems with that. Even with those problems, I'm in love with my car!!

This is my first Navigator and won't be my last! We've had 3 Expedition's over the years and I thought all SUV's were basically the same. Wrong! This vehicle rides so smooth and handles remarkably well for it's size. It is a true luxury SUV!
