This is my second Mazda. I love the way they handle. I have taken my CX-3 on a few long trips and it was very comfortable for a small car. My model is AWD. It has low clearance so I wouldn’t recommend for off roading but it did well camping in the mountains and climbing gravel roads. It gets good gas mileage for its class. It rides like a luxury car. Great buy for budget hunters who still want class and comfort. Love Mazdas.
I was worried about getting a car with so many computer extras however no problems. Solid SUV.

I had a Mazda3 before the CX-3 so don’t know if fair to judge. However compared to other cars in same class it does well. Flat out handles better than any other one. And the sports mode and manual paddles beef it up a little.
