The 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 is praised for its stylish design, smooth handling, and advanced technology features. While its interior space and maintenance costs are common concerns, it offers strong fuel economy and a luxurious feel. Suitable for those prioritizing aesthetics and performance over spaciousness.
The car drives really smooth and gets up really quick. It has a good amount of power and acceleration. In my opinion it’s actually pretty fast for a 2.0L turbo.
Both the exterior and interior are very sleek and classy. My favorite feature inside the car are the amber colored interior lights within the seats and on the doors.
Although the car requires premium gas, a full tank gets me well over 400 miles and lasts for a good while.
The one thing I do not like about the car is that the blind spots are really bad. It’s very hard to see when switching lanes, luckily the car alerts me when someone/ something is there.
Another thing I dislike is that I cannot leave the car running and lock the doors. For example if I have my dog in the car and need to run into the gas station I cannot leave the car running and also lock the door to keep my dog safe inside. I have to turn off the car and crack the windows instead. I also dislike the fact that I cannot remote start my car. You can do it through the MercedesMe app but it costs money annually which I think is silly. There also is no touch screen. Apparently all Mercedes models even the brand new ones don’t have touch screens and you use an analog stick to navigate your screen which I personally don’t mind unless I’m needing to do something quickly.
The car essentially is a coupe so the interior space is limited. I don’t have any kids nor have people in my car very often so it does not bother me but if you are someone who does you may not like the amount of space.
It's smooth on those curves.
Bluetooth capabilities and Android Auto.
It's a pretty penny to maintain but to keep her running like brand new, it's worth it.
It takes premium gas, but it has an eco feature for the engine. So it's not too bad.
