I had owned GL 450 before and it was a great 7-seater but its fuel economy was abysmal. These newer modes with turbo V6 deliver a stronger output and much better fuel economy. so far I am getting better than advertised mpg. on the hwy my mpg averages around 23-26 and pure city around 17-19 and mix is about 21-22. I am using a hum device that gives me very specific details. The quality of materials is as expected from MB. I made sure I have the leather seats. I cannot stand leatherette in this class. apple car play is pretty awesome actually. the 360 car camera system is stunningly accurate and so useful. The drive is smooth and comfortable. I purchased the extended warranty to make sure that I am covered against big failures if it happens. so far nothing!
