Transmission: Manual 5 Speed Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.286 reviews) It looks awesome. The sunset pearlscent (orange) color is gorgeous. I have the GS Sport version, 2.4L engine, and has enough power IMHO. If you are thinking about getting one, go ahead and do it :) Note that the cabin is noisy compared to other cars but that can be improved with an isolation kit. It's on my to do list.

Transmission: Manual 5 Speed Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.333 reviews) This car has a CVT. It will drift back, while in drive, on an incline. Acceleration from standing is delayed. Rapid highway acceleration can seem like being in a slingshot. Sometimes the automatic "shifting" feels unusual/out of synch. I would NOT recommend any CVT equipped vehicle for stop/go commuting or around town. For highway travel out of traffic, it's good. Personally, I'll stick to fully geared transmissions.

a great vehicle

The only thing I really wish were different is how the rear seats tumble forward; it would be great if they could fold flat. Otherwise, this is really a really impressive small SUV. A lot bigger inside than you would think, and the selectable four-wheel drive and shiftronic shifter are really useful. Had the car for less than a month and ran into a blizzard in West Texas, and the four-wheel drive really helped me to avoid getting stuck out on the highway. And the gas mileage is really good too; so far I'm averaging about 22 mpg overall (on the highway I've gotten up to 27 mpg).

Pretty good car for the money!

The Galant was the only mid-size car I found in my price range, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. It has a lot of room inside for both front and rear passengers. It has comfortable seating all around. It drives and handles better than more expensive cars I have owned. Really the only things I don't like are related to the motor. Mine has the 2.4L 4-cylinder, and it is just not enough motor for this size car, and because the motor is working so hard to move the car around it doesn't get the kind of gas mileage we would expect from cars with small motors. Turn on the A/C and it feels downright sad. It's a shame really, because I really like everything else about the car, although a stereo aux input would be great.

I'm in love!

For many reasons but mostly because it's a convertible!!! It's also fun. It doesn't take all my money to fill it up and I don't visit the pump often, It looks and feels sporty like yet smooth. I'm its 2nd owner, no wrecks, well maintained. It's a great car!!!
