Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.308 reviews) Originally I was driving a 20-year-old Jeep. I really liked the 4WD capability in particular, not to mention the engine power, raised up ride and the extra hauling capacity. But when it died I was left to make the choice of economy vs size. I think for my lifestyle the Impreza hatchback was a great fit. With this car the most noticeable advantage is the mpg. I think it would be hard to find another vehicle with this kind of great fuel economy that has such an excellent AWD system. I initially thought I'd sacrificed cargo space but in reality hatchbacks have space versatility and volume that's comparable to most compact SUVs. The only difference is that they sit lower to the ground - which was a hard decision for me to make too in this.

This car rocks!

My first impression of the 2009 Subaru Impreza surprised me. The first time I drove it, I felt very good to say it was my first time in a Subaru car. I also like the stereo and the other features.

One great car!

This is a great car, and now in a good price bracket for the "ideal" driver. I love my car, It's quick, and fast (two different types of speed), handles great, and I expect mine to turn 300,000 and still be humming. I have had no problems, and she's just turned 85,000. The quality is excellent where it matters most, and that leads to the downside. The car's cabin is noisy, and the ride is rough - not so good if you're crossing over into your 30's and age is starting to catch up to you. This vehicle is perfect for anyone in their early 20's, which I was when I bought mine.

Good price with low mileage.

The Subaru was highly recommended to us by people who owned one. We had it checked out by our mechanic during the trial period, and the mechanic raved about it being in such good new.
