What customers are saying

The 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek excels in fuel economy, safety, and weather versatility, making it a reliable option for diverse conditions. While praised for handling and reliability, some find its power inadequate and seats stiff. The CVT transmission may feel sluggish, but it compensates with manual control options for steep terrain.

Hardworking underdog

PROS
Safety

Nothing blocks view from windows. Some cars put a detail right in the area of your blindspot.

Ride and Handling

Feels secure when driving up steep driveways.

Interior Space

Not too big not too small.

CONS
Fuel Economy

Had a prius that ran 53-56 mpg. I'm getting 30-32 now. Refueling I feel more.

Power

Like most cars it's not built to race but it does take awhile before it grabs going up a tall hill.

Seat Comfort

Could use a little more cushion on the bottom half but may interfer with heater.
