Solid, well built, easy to drive, comfortable. I owned a 2002 4Runner and loved it but gave it to my daughter when she graduated from school and replaced it with a 2008 model for me. I didn't think I would like the newer version as much but I was wrong - it's terrific in almost every way.
We love our 4runner

We purchased the Sport Edition and we love it!! It goes anywhere with pretty good gas mileage and it looks great. We are a family of 3 and it fits us perfectly. We had a Jeep Gr. Cherokee before and this is bigger with more leg room and more cargo room. I think we will have this vehicle for a long time.

The redesigned grill gives the SR5 a sinister look that turns quite a few heads. Rugged lines stay true to the previous 4 generations, keeping the original 4Runner look there. The power back window is still one of the coolest concepts and separates the 4Runner from it's competitors.
The interior is spacious. I recently drove across country and back and did not feel cramped in any way. My only gripe with the entire truck is the touch screen entertainment/navigation.
