2012 Toyota Prius vK. Day - Portland, OR09/08/2016
Great mileage for the size of car that you get. You can fit SO much into this hatchback. It drives well, comfortable, roomy, great for road trips.
Perfect road trip car
2012 Toyota Prius vMatt J - Austin, TX05/12/2016
If you're buying a Prius, you know you're sacrificing engine size and power for gas mileage. That said, the Prius V, with the tech package, is a great road trip car. The adaptive cruise control means that you can set the cruise control for 75 mph and not have to disengage/re-engage cruise control if vehicles ahead of you change speed. If you're going cross-country, the car can warn you of bad weather in the area. It handles really well on slick roads because of front-wheel drive. The one downside is that the built-in GPS is of fairly poor quality, but for longer trips, I use a stand-alone Garmin.
Prius V - the super car!
2013 Toyota Prius vD M - Sac, CA12/19/2016
- fuel economy we get 41.5 mpg combined.
-very peppy especially in power mode.
-lots of space of an SUV.
- radio controls a little confusing.
- key fob doesn't always recognize and car won't say READY so we need to restart the sequence.
- It's comfortable but a little tight. If we have a third person in the back seat they are a little squeezed.
