I have had my car for almost 2 years in March, I love it when it is just me. Everyone else that rides with me complains that the seats arent comfortable and the space is too small in the backseat. I rode in the backseat and YES it is small and you can BARELY fit 3 people back there in comfort. But I love the appearance they way the radio and the whole middle console is made. Do wish that the cup holders were a lil different and wish there were bigger compartments to hold things. But all in all with MPG! It is wonderful!!! But I think If I had to re-choose I would take the new 2009 Corolla for the space.
The Toyota Yaris made the Forbes magazine list of top 10 most reliable used cars. My Yaris exceeds all my expectations with the exception of comfort. It could use a little more leg room for people over 6 feet tall. Other than that, it has plenty of cargo room, ranks high in reliability and crash tests and it's fun to drive. Most importantly, I'm spending less on fuel. This car gets about 37 MPG on the highway. I'm delighted.
I've had my 2007 Yaris for just over a year now and I love it. The gas mileage is just as good as they say it is, I average between 35-40 mpg which is great with my 35 mile each way to work commute. I am short (5'2") and fit in the car perfectly. My fiance is 6'2" and he fits, but says it gets uncomfortable after a while. I have had no problems with getting up to or staying at highway speeds, but if I have more than 2 people in the car it does get kind of sluggish. But its still a great value for what it costs!
