The Audi Q4 e-tron is a compact SUV powered by a battery-electric drive system. As a compact utility vehicle, the Q4 e-tron costs less and goes farther than larger competitors while still providing effective cargo and passenger space. With advanced tech features like a head-up display and a digital gauge cluster, the Q4 e-tron offers a high-tech driver interface and is targeted between larger, pricier luxury EVs and economy EVs.

First generations Audi Q4 e-tron

The Audi Q4 e-tron is built on the same dedicated EV platform as the Volkswagen ID.4, and depending on the model year and specific equipment, it offers between 241 miles and 288 miles of range on a full charge.

Through the 2026 model year, the Q4 e-tron offers DC fast charging with a standard SAE Combo plug, instead of the increasingly popular NACS system used by Tesla Superchargers.

While the first Q4 e-tron models featured dual motors and all-wheel drive, later model years offer an option for a single motor and rear-wheel drive. This configuration increases range at a small cost to performance. Buyers can also choose between Premium and Premium Plus trim levels with the Q4 e-tron. The higher Premium Plus trim level includes features such as a power liftgate, wireless device charging, and a power-adjustable passenger seat.
