What is new for the 2016 Audi S4?
- S4 trims have been upgraded with Leather Seats and Rear Spoiler as standard equipment this year.
5 reasons to buy the 2016 Audi S4
1. Restrained style
Not all high-performance sedans signify their performance loudly, and the 2016 Audi S4 hints at its power with a restrained style. From its five-parallel spoke 18-inch alloy wheels to its Singleframe® S-model grille, the Audi S4 is low-key in appearance. Ideal if you don’t want to draw unwanted attention. Four exhaust pipes suggest higher performance levels than the regular A4 on which the S4 is based, as do the larger sill trims, trunk lid spoiler, and aluminum-look mirror caps.
2. A sporting interior
Step inside the 2016 Audi S4 and you’re greeted by a premium and luxurious interior. You’ll immediately see the gray-faced instrument dials and the flat-bottomed steering wheel, and the black headliner and brushed aluminum inlays add racier details. The leather and Alcantara® sports seats – with 12-way power adjustments – embossed with the ‘S4’ legend add up to a more overall focused driving experience than a regular A4.
3. Supercharged power
Underneath the bonnet of the 2016 Audi S4 is a 333-hp 3.0L supercharged V6 engine. The six-cylinder’s 325 lb-ft of torque gives exhilarating performance, with a zero to 60 time of 4.9 seconds. You can select the standard six-speed manual transmission if you want to enjoy full control or opt for the seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic – complete with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters – for a more relaxed, but no less fun, driving experience.
4. AWD traction
Thanks to its high levels of power and its sports-tuned suspension, the 2016 Audi S4 makes any journey fun. Audi’s celebrated quattro® permanent all-wheel-drive system gives lots of grip on any surface, meaning you’ll have added confidence on any road surface. If you opt for the available rear sport differential, you’ll enjoy even more assurance and performance when the going gets twisty, as it actively sends power between the rear wheels for improved cornering ability.
5. Loaded trims
The 2016 Audi S4 packs a punch with features, as well as performance. Entry S4 Premium Plus trim includes automatic xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a sunroof, and tri-zone automatic climate control. There is also Audi’s MMI® (Multi Media Interface) media system with a 6.5-inch screen, and a 10-speaker sound system with an SD card slot, iPod interface, and satellite radio. S4 Prestige trim adds a Technology package that includes a seven-inch color display, Bluetooth® streaming audio connectivity, HD radio, navigation, and a rearview camera. Exclusive to the Prestige is a Driver Assistance package which adds adaptive cruise control.
