2018 Audi TTS review

1. Standard all-wheel drive 

Equipped with Audi's quattro^® system, the 2018 TTS gives you all the tools you need to experience it with total confidence. The AWD system delivers a 40:60 torque split to the front and rear wheels, respectively, meaning it makes sure all wheels get the necessary amount of power to ensure continued balance and stability in most circumstances. It's this type of capability that makes the 2018 Audi TTS an excellent choice for car enthusiasts. 

2. Blistering performance from a strong engine 

Staying in the performance department, the 2018 Audi TTS is a powerful car that's a real treat to drive. The standard engine under its hood is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. It's coupled with a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission, working together to deliver a 4.6-second acceleration time for the zero-to-60 mph dash. 

3. Premium interior 

The interior of the 2018 Audi TTS is typically excellent for a top-of-the-line model coming from the popular German automaker. Features like folding rear seatbacks and heated front seats with massage functions already start to give you an idea of the level of refinement you can expect once you get inside. The leather and synthetic suede upholstery, along with the tilt-and-telescoping sport steering wheel with wheel-mounted shift paddles and the LED ambient lighting increase the sense of luxury further. 

4. Unexpectedly good mileage 

You may not demand frugal fuel consumption from a car such as the Audi TTS, but you will still get good mpg. Even though it's a high-performance car with a powerful engine and tons of tech, the 2018 Audi TTS might surprise you. It gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg combined, which is a figure you don't often see for these types of sports cars.

5. Audi's virtual cockpit 

Instead of a typical touchscreen infotainment system, the 2018 Audi TTS gets a digital gauge cluster that the carmaker calls its "virtual cockpit". It houses the car's multimedia interface in addition to the gauges, which includes built-in navigation and satellite radio. You also get two USB ports, Bluetooth^® connectivity, and a nine-speaker audio system.
