There are four 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD trims, giving you a variety of enthusiast-level upgrades and features to tackle some of the most challenging terrains. Every 2022 Toyota 4Runner is equipped with a torquey 4.0L V6 engine that makes 270 hp, alongside a five-speed automatic transmission. You can get 4WD traction as an option on every trim or standard on TRD Off-Road and higher models. When hauling, a 2022 Toyota 4Runner (any configuration) can tow up to an estimated 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
