Weather Versatility
Lots of 4wd features. Diff lockers, A-trac, and multiple surface condition modes make it feel like you can go anywhere in any weather
Ride and Handling
Definitely feels heavy and solid when driving. Suspension feels great on bumps and turns- not too hard but not too soft either
Styling
I always liked the look of the 5th gen 4runners and there is such a huge aftermarket for them to make it your own
CONS
Power
This vehicle easily needs at least another 50hp to handle its weight. But I am used to my Tacoma with this same engine that is much quicker and lighter
Cost to Maintain
Took it into the dealership for an oil change and they wanted to upsell $2500 worth of maintenance, none of which was major
