What customers are saying

The 2015 Toyota 4Runner is praised for its reliability, spacious cargo area, and smooth handling. However, fuel economy and issues with braking are common drawbacks. Notable strengths include its quiet ride and intuitive dashboard features, but some find its tech outdated. A dependable SUV with drawbacks primarily related to efficiency and high-tech expectations.

A great SUV

Previously I had a 2005 4Runner with a V8 engine and I haul a large utility trailer. This 2015 model year only has a V6, so I was concerned about trailer-pulling capability. But, no problem. They managed to get as much horse power out of the V6 as the V8 had. Mine is also a 4-wheel drive and is great for off-roading. On the regular roads and highways, it drives great and smooth. I love this 4Runner.

PROS
Ride and Handling

Smooth and very controllable.

Reliability

No repair problems on this and my 2005.

Cabin Noise

Nice and quiet compared to my sedan cars.

CONS
Fuel Economy

MPG only around 18 to 20

Solid with Style

Toyota. Then you add the unmistakable style of a 4Runner. The quality you can feel when you crack it up and drive it. It just feels solid. No tin can feel. You can see the master workmanship everywhere in this vehicle. Friends and family who ride with me have the same impression of the 4Runner that I have. The ride is so smooth and almost relaxing for a vehicle with a ten inch ground clearance. Cannot ever go back to low tin can rides again.

PROS
Value

This is the quality and reliability you want in a vehicle.

Cost to Maintain

You can maintain this vehicle with Toyota quality care at every Toyota dealership. The prices are easy to meet to keep a 4Runner in top shape/if it ever breaks it will not break you.

Great SUV

The 4 Runner rides very well and is so tight. The 3rd row seat is also great in a jam when carpooling. I like everything about it. It has everything I need, looks nice, and is fun to drive.

PROS
Ride and Handling

For a truck frame it is very smooth and quiet.

Reliability

There are no rattles, squeeks, or issues. The parts are also affordable and readily available.

Technology and Entertainment

The stereo and dash interface is very user friendly and does not have any glitches. The bluetooth is clear very reliable.
