What We Like

Interior: While the trim materials in the Buick Envision may not be at the same level as some of its competitors, the cabin still has a premium vibe with attractive, clean styling. The available 10.2-inch infotainment display angles toward the driver for better access to controls. The front seats have multiple adjustments, offering seat massagers for added comfort on longer trips.

Technology: The Envision comes standard with an eight-inch display and the option of upgrading to a larger 10.2-inch screen. Both offer an intuitive interface with physical controls for volume and tuning, as well as wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™. Advanced driver-assist features like automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assistance are standard on all trim levels.

Performance: All Envisions come equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that provides good power for this premium crossover. According to the Edmunds review, the Buick can reach 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, which is quick for a vehicle of this type. There is some body roll when it's pushed hard, but the handling is decent and braking power is strong.

What Needs Improvement

Utility: Despite providing a comfortable ride for its five passengers, the Envision falls short in terms of utility. With just 25.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, it offers less storage capacity than many of its competitors. Its towing capacity is also limited to a mere 1,500 pounds.
