Space and power combined
As part of the sixth generation Regal introduced in 2018, the 2020 Buick Regal TourX takes several practicalities from the crossover SUV segment and turns them up to 11 in this wagon form. 5 reasons to buy the 2020 Buick Regal Tourx
1. Great cargo space
The 2020 Buick Regal TourX is the wagon version of the Regal, making it a practical choice if you need extra space. The cargo room is generous: with the rear seats up, there’s 32.7 cu-ft of space in the back, but with the seats folded, there’s an incredible 73.5 cu-ft. This is more than you’d get in an SUV and allows you to transport large equipment and even furniture, if necessary.
2. Ideal road trip companion
The cargo space alone makes this an ideal vehicle for long drives and road trips, but that’s not all the 2020 Buick Regal TourX has to offer. On top of that, it comes with all-wheel drive as standard, giving you an edge over many types of road surfaces and making it a great all-weather vehicle. Plus, as a bonus, the low roof makes rack loading very easy, so if the cavernous cargo space isn’t enough for all your equipment, there’s space on the roof.
3. Automatic climate control made standard for 2020
For its final year of production, Buick made dual-zone automatic climate control standard on all versions of the 2020 Buick Regal TourX. This is a nice bonus in a pretty practical vehicle, especially during long drives. This type of climate control divides the cabin into two zones, which means each side of the vehicle can pick the preferred temperature setting, allowing for additional comfort.
4. Strong base engine
There are three trims for the 2020 Buick Regal TourX – Base, Preferred, and Essence – and all feature a 250-hp 2.0L four-cylinder engine that powers all four wheels through an eight-speed transmission. The 295 lb-ft of torque this delivers is more than enough for this vehicle. The 2020 Buick Regal TourX also gets an EPA-estimated 24 combined mpg, which is very respectable.
5. Useful connectivity features
Just to add to the 2020 Buick Regal TourX’s status as a great road trip vehicle, it has some connectivity features to make long drives far more entertaining. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come as standard across the TourX trims, integrating into a seven-inch touchscreen for the base trim and an eight-inch touchscreen for higher trims. There’s also an available Wi-Fi hotspot as standard, as with most Buicks, and an available Bose® audio system with a subwoofer speaker.
