Genesis G90

Genesis is fast becoming the brand to beat in the luxury space. The G90 is the company’s flagship sedan, offering up to 409 horsepower from the turbocharged and supercharged V6 engine, with an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The car rides on an adaptive suspension and 20-inch wheels, offering a comfortable but controlled and precise driving experience.

Inside, buyers enjoy Nappa leather upholstery with heat, ventilation, and massage functions for the driver and front passenger, along with heated seats for the rear passengers. There's a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and another 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with onboard navigation and wireless support for your Apple or Android phone. A head-up display is standard. Buyers who select the top engine trims also get an air-ride suspension and rear-wheel steering, as well as ventilation and massage functionality in the back seats.

The first Genesis G90 arrived at the start of Genesis' journey as a premium luxury brand from parent company Hyundai. Before the birth of Genesis, a similar car was marketed as the Hyundai Equus. The G90 was an aggressive play for a brand-new luxury car company, featuring an available V8 engine, rear-wheel drive, and luxury to match any European brand. The G90 offered buyers a nearly silent cabin experience and a glassy-smooth ride.

In early model years, buyers could select from a 3.3-liter turbocharged V6 engine or the 5.0-liter V8 option for the G90. The sedan was also available with standard rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Regardless of engine or driveline choice, G90 buyers always got an eight-speed automatic transmission.

From the beginning, G90 buyers got a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring navigation and real-time traffic information, plus voice control. A wireless charging pad was also standard.
