First generation Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator is a four-door midsize pickup truck with Jeep’s capable four-wheel-drive system, seating for five passengers, removable doors, a hard or soft roof, and a five-foot pickup truck bed.
The Jeep Gladiator is a popular choice for adventurous buyers, blending the appeal of a midsize pickup truck with the go-anywhere capability of a Jeep Wrangler. Available in a wide variety of trim levels, there’s a Gladiator for all purposes. Since its launch, the Gladiator has offered a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine. From 2021 to 2023, an EcoDiesel V6 engine was available. All Gladiators feature one of Jeep’s four dual-range four-wheel-drive systems, offering either part-time or full-time four-wheel drive.
Models prior to 2025 offered a choice between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the manual was discontinued for the 2025 model year. Jeep also added a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen in 2025, replacing the smaller screens in previous models.
