The Kia EV9 is an all-electric midsize crossover SUV with seating for six or seven passengers. It’s about the same size as the popular Kia Telluride SUV, but offers a pure electric alternative. Kia designed the EV9 to accept DC fast charging at 210 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 24 minutes at compatible chargers.

First generation Kia EV9

The Kia EV9 is a three-row all-electric SUV. In a way, the EV9 is in a class by itself because it is the only electric SUV of its size that does not come from a luxury manufacturer. As a result, the EV9 starts out at a much more affordable price than other electric SUVs of the same size.

The midsize EV9 offers seating for six or seven passengers, depending on the seating configuration you choose. The EPA-estimated range on a full charge is 230 miles to 304 miles

, and the EV9 is capable of DC fast charging at up to 210 kW.

Inside, the EV9 leans heavily into modern technology with a single pane of glass on the dashboard, housing a 12.3-inch digital driver information screen on the left, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment center on the right, and a five-inch climate control touchscreen in between.
