Kia K900
The Kia K900 was an often-overlooked near-luxury full-size sedan. That's unfortunate because it came with excellent interior appointments and enough rear-seat space to shuttle VIPs. Looking at the K900 today, you can see the design cues that later produced the related Genesis brand of premium vehicles from the same automotive group (Hyundai Motors). First generation Kia K900
Produced for one generation, the Kia K900 offers a host of premium features at an attractive price point. At launch, power came from a potent 5.0-liter V8 engine, passing through an eight-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. For most years, a V6 was standard, with an available V8. For the final two years of production, a supercharged V6 was standard, along with all-wheel drive. Depending on the trim level, the K900 might be equipped with the available surround-view camera system, blind-spot monitoring, and teen-oriented features such as geofencing, speed limiter, and curfew.
Inside, the K900 delivers a smooth, quiet ride, as expected for a luxury car. From the beginning of production, a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system was standard, including navigation and phone integration. In the top Luxury trim level, you get genuine wood accents and a powerful Lexicon sound system.
