Lincoln MKT
The Lincoln MKT was a full-size crossover SUV with premium seating for up to seven passengers in three rows. While the rest of Lincoln's lineup had been refreshed with a common look, the MKT was left behind, with its final styling looking much like it did when first introduced nine years earlier. Two trims were offered in its final year of production, and both were well-equipped with features such as tri-zone climate control, SYNC® 3 infotainment on an eight-inch display, and Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™. All-wheel drive was standard, as was a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine.

First generation Lincoln MKT
The Lincoln MKT arrived in 2010, providing a three-row luxury alternative to the full-size Navigator. Based on the Ford Flex, the MKT remained largely unchanged throughout its single generation, with a slight design refresh in 2013. Seating was available for up to seven; however, second-row bucket seats were available, trimming passenger capacity to six. The third row was usable, but the sloped roof infringed on headroom for taller passengers. Leather and wood trim came standard, appropriate given the expected luxury experience of a Lincoln, and in 2016, the infotainment system was updated to the much more intuitive SYNC® 3 interface, displayed on an eight-inch touchscreen.
When the MKT arrived, Lincoln offered the big crossover with two engine options: a 3.7-liter V6 or a more powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost® V6, producing 355 horsepower (365 starting in 2013). Front-wheel drive came standard, with all-wheel drive available with the EcoBoost® engine. In 2019, all-wheel drive and the EcoBoost® engine became standard features.

RepairPal gave the Lincoln MKT an overall reliability rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, which RepairPal describes as Above Average. This rating ranks Lincoln MKT 4th out of 20 among Luxury Fullsize SUVs.
