2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid review

1. AWD as standard 

All-wheel drive comes as standard with the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid. This is great for extra peace of mind whenever you’re driving on rough or slick surfaces, or if you love to go off on adventures. It makes the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid a strong choice if you want the practicality of an SUV but want the car-like agility of a car. 

2. Good off-roader  

Speaking of adventures, the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is also great for off-roading. The AWD helps, of course, but there’s also 8.7 inches of ground clearance. This is enough to take the vehicle out into the wilderness and feel confident in its abilities on rough, loose, or slippery terrain. It’s a confident, composed vehicle with powerful traction control, and its suspension ensures you're nicely balanced on tight turns.

There are a few new benefits that have been added to the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid for that year. All trims now come with a rearview camera and a 6.2-inch touchscreen with smartphone app integration, which is a big upgrade for tech-loving drivers. Additionally, as available add-ons, there’s a seven-inch screen upgrade as well as Subaru’s EyeSight package including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and more. 

4. Lots of features 

There are lots of great features that come with the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid, making it feel like a home from home when you’re driving. The 6.2-inch touchscreen now comes standard, as well as a CD player, Bluetooth^® connectivity, keyless entry, a USB port, and push-button start. The Starlink touchscreen system allows access to a lot of popular apps, and there are physical buttons around the screen to make adjustments to things like volume and climate easier.  

5. Spacious 

Space is one of the crowning jewels of the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid. Even tall people can fill every seat without a problem, and the cargo space allows you to transport a whole host of big and small items. The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid has 21.5 cu-ft of storage space in the trunk with the rear seats up, but when they’re folded, that expands to an incredible 50.2 cu-ft. This is only slightly less than the non-hybrid version (the battery pack beneath the cargo floor reduces the space a little), but the flat load floor makes up for it by making storage even easier.
