First generation Toyota bZ4X
The bZ4X provides an all-electric driving experience in a compact two-row crossover SUV. The bZ4X is not known for its performance but rather for efficiency, offering over 250 miles of EPA-estimated range on a charge in its lightest front-wheel-drive configuration
. Trim and wheel selections have an effect on range, so be sure to carefully choose those options. As a modern electric vehicle, technology is important for the bZ4X. The infotainment/navigation system is powered by Google and updated using an onboard data connection. Voice control is also included on all trim levels. Cargo capacity is impressive for its size, with 27.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats, plenty for a trip to the soccer field or the home supply store.
The bZ4X was introduced for the 2023 model year and continued mostly unchanged through 2025. However, the 2026 model year includes many updates as part of a major refresh, including a name change to just bZ.
