The Toyota Corolla Cross is a compact crossover SUV, built on the same platform as the Corolla passenger car. In Toyota’s product line, the Corolla Cross is larger than the subcompact C-HR and smaller than the RAV4. The Corolla Cross provides seating for five passengers in two rows. Power comes from a four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. A hybrid drivetrain is available in the Corolla Cross Hybrid. All Corolla Cross models feature an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®.

Latest generation Toyota Corolla Cross

The Corolla Cross was introduced for the 2022 model year as an affordable entry-level compact SUV. Built on the same chassis as the popular Corolla compact passenger car, the Corolla Cross offers more cargo space and available all-wheel drive.

While the Corolla Cross is smaller than Toyota’s RAV4 compact SUV, it will seat up to five adults and offers 24 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the rear seats. That’s enough for a trip to the grocery store or to carry the family for a day at the beach. Additionally, the Corolla Cross can tow up to 1,500 pounds when properly equipped.

The engine in the Corolla Cross is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available across the model line. The Corolla Cross comes in three trim levels, ranging from the basic L to the more luxurious XLE.
