The 2024 Corolla Cross fits in between the RAV-4 and the C-HR in Toyota's crossover lineup. It offers standard features of 24 cu-ft of cargo space and 60/40 fold-down rear seats. An automated tailgate, a moonroof, and JBL Premium audio and adaptive lighting are standard on the Corolla Cross XLE trim level along with LED headlights and tail lights. All trim levels come standard with driver assist features including road sign assist, lane departure alert, and automatic high beams. The LE and XLE models offer compelling standard features including alloy wheels, rear privacy windows, and automatic climate control.

1. Smooth, comfortable ride  

If you are looking for a preowned daily driver vehicle and prioritize comfort and curb appeal over horsepower and tight handling, the 2024 Corolla Cross is an excellent choice. Each of the three trim levels, from the base L model to the mid-range LE and top-of-the-line XLE are available with all-wheel drive if you are willing to track one down. The system warns you visually when it detects stationary objects, or vehicles approaching from the rear. If the system detects a pending collision with a detected obstacle or vehicle, it will reduce engine power and apply the brakes. 

3. Frugal performance  

The standard engine in the 2024 Corolla Cross lineup is a 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine with 169 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. The engine choice is more for practicality than power. The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross will achieve an EPA-estimated 30 mpg combined.

Bluetooth® mobile device integration enables you to take full advantage of your subscriptions to Apple CarPlay®, Amazon Alexa®, Android Auto™, and SiriusXM® radio connectivity through the Corolla Cross' eight-inch multimedia touchscreen. The optional JBL premium sound system provides the clearest sound and stronger bass if that is what moves you. You will have to use your mobile device's navigation system, as Toyota doesn't offer a native one on their infotainment system. Many car buyers do that instinctively, however it's something to be aware of.
