This car with tech pack is great. I'm from LA, living on the east coast with needs for all wheel drive to handle the snow, and with a house with needs to carry larger cargo. I also snowboard and really glad i got the top rack. Since i'm young and from LA, i'm still into the car scene and this car was a perfect compromise between all of these factors without being too old and frumpy. The turbo charge and sport shift are great when you want to drive aggressively, and the 4cyclinders are good if you want to mellow out and get better mpg. That being said i range city 18mpg and highway 24. The bluetooth and gps are must have. The voice activation is cool, but not necessary -- but enjoyable nonetheless. There are a few performance aftermarket parts like the hondata ECU reflash and some air intakes.
Would buy this car all over again! I love it!

It's not a flashy, look-at-me type of vehicle. It is stylish. It is luxurious. It is well-made. It does not flaunt or call for unsavory attention . I don't feel that I'm attracting attention to myself and putting myself in a situation where I might be robbed or followed home. It is unpretentious.

THE RDX IS A FINE AUTO AFTER MANY YEARS OF DRIVING SEDANS AND STATION WAGONS. IF THERE IS A SHORTCOMING , IT RELATES TO THE RIDE. THE RDX HAS A HARD RIDE COMPARED TO A GRAND MARQUIS. I GUESS IT HAS TO DO WITH SUV FRAME. ALSO, THE CARGO SPACE IS VERY LIMITED. IN TRAVELING, MY LUGGAGE SHOWS AS WELL AS PURCHASES ON SHOPPING DAYS. ALSO, WHEN HEAVY SNOW HIT CHICAGO RECENTLY, THE WIPERS ICED UP AND THE FRONT DEFROSTERS COULD NOT HANDLE THE SITUATION.
The Acura MDX, which entered the market in 2001, was designed to address the need for a high-performance people-mover with an abundance of luxury features. Although the MDX replaced Acura’s SLX, its build was actually based on the popular Honda Pilot.
