Reliable but expensive to maintain

Power

Press the accelerator and you go! Quickly! Great exhaust growl and turbo whistle. Very comfortable for the driver and front seat passenger.

Reliability

Rock solid reliability (once the factory plastic charge pipe is replaced with an aftermarket metal version.)

Technology and Entertainment

Easy (albeit expensive) to upgrade the head unit to include wireless Carplay and Android auto. Long press the multimedia button if you have installed an MMI unit, and the Carplay or AA menu pops up. I added an MMI prime unit to mine (totally hidden until the user long presses the media button) and then the options appear for AA, Carplay, and adding a front-mounted camera (which I didn't do.)
Cons

Cost to Maintain

Routine maintenance is very expensive but necessary to ensure reliability. Strive for a square (not staggered) wheel setup. Square means you can rotate the tires properly. Staggered means side to side only, cutting your tire warranty in half. Factory wheels are prone to cracks - consider upgrading to aftermarket wheels.

Interior Space

rear seats are a designed for legless midgets unless the front passengers pull the seats far forward. Best used as a shelf and use a wind screen. The trunk, however, has reasonable space with the top lowered or raised.

Technology and Entertainment

Limited to factory navigation and radio functions without upgrading to an MMI unit. Once 3G was eliminated, the factory modem and connected services became non-functional.

Pros

Ride and Handling

The best handling car I have had. Nimble and precise this car handles well in city and highway.

Value

You get 90% of an M2 at 50% of the price. Rarely will you need any more performance than the horsepower and Torque you get in this small car.
Cons

Interior Space

The front is spacious for the size. The back seat is cramped and if you regularly have more than two people traveling with you then move up to the 3 series.
