Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.231 reviews) This car looks great, is fun to drive, and is very comfortable on long trips. This is my first BMW and there are so many nice features on this car besides the things that are always advertised like navigation, sunroof, etc. There are a lot of little things that you don't get on less expensive cars like all 4 windows being 1-touch up and down, rain sensing wipers, lights under the door handles, and other cool features. The engine is super smooth and quiet even under full throttle. As for the interior, Mercedes is catching up in recent years, but for this model year BMW was light years ahead.

4 stars overall

I recently purchased the 4.4i version of the x5 and the acceleration is amazing. The interior wears well and looks great and the air cools and heats within seconds of turning the truck on. The interior space for passengers is great but the cargo area could use a bit more width. The only real negative about the truck thus far is the ride. I know it has a sport suspension but I can feel every bump in the road hence making the ride horrible as if I just purchased a mini or sports car. I just turned in a landrover LR3 2006 and I must say for the same amount of money it has a MUCH better ride and similar acceleration. BMW is much less to fix for breaks and such but I'm a bit disappointed in the ride and Dallas streets. Great turning radius and a fantastic full sliding glass roof with a great record on reliability. Landrover was for me too so if I had to choose again....the BMW comes in a close second.

So much car for the price!

It's the perfect SUV or SAV as BMW calls it! The X5 has the ability to handle what ever you put it through. It drives, sounds, and handles like a sports car, yet it can haul almost anything or anyone comfortably! If your in the market I highly recommend buying the 5.0i trim level, You won't be disappointed.
