Debated between 2013 Buick Lacrosse and 2013 Lincoln MKS. Chose the Lacrosse because it had less miles. The Lacrosse is less than 1/2 the car of the MKS. Electronics are complicated to use and low in visual quality. Road noise is higher than MKS. Lacrosse is physically more tiring and requires more effort to drive than MKS. It doesn't have the sporty and luxury drive-ability of the MKS. I went from a Lincoln LS to the Lacrosse; can't hardly wait to get back to Lincoln.
Best Luxury Car Ever
2012 Buick LaCrosseMark Holland - Staunton, VA11/16/2015
This is the non advertised Hybrid model and for the life of me I cannot figure out why they do not advertise it. Large roomy interior and 40+ MPG. Buick calls it an 2.5 "eAssist" but it really is a mild hybrid with a lithium Ion battery, generator/motor and regenerative braking it barely sips more fuel than a Prius and is not cramped or confined when riding in it. Love the large leather heated front bucket seats, Harmon Kardon Stereo, climate control, and quiet as a mouse inside.
Equipped with the same luxuries that other cars have, but for thousands less on the sticker.. Smooth ride, and on trips, I get 26-28 mpg even with my V-6. This is cruising at 70-75 mph. In town you can expect 18-21 depending on how you drive. Beautiful lines and tons of leg room ( I am 6-6). You do need to remember to use your blind spot detectors in your mirrors.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
