The 2022 Cadillac XT4 is praised for its comfortable seating, powerful engine, and sleek styling. While its upscale interior and tech features garner positive feedback, drawbacks include fuel efficiency and minor cabin noise concerns. Overall, it balances performance with luxury, making it a solid choice in the compact SUV segment.
very easy to get in and out of the cabin, both front seats and back seats.
I like the touchscreen and the responsiveness of the computer and bringing up whatever I select. The main dashboard is limited in what you can display based on pre-selected lists that the Cadillac has. Would love to see an interface with Apple CarPlay, where I could change the dashboard display to what I would like it to look like.
even with a turbo four-cylinder, this SUV gets terrible gas mileage. My average around town is 19 miles to the gallon. On long stretches of interstate I can barely get it up to 23 to 24 miles to a gallon. And that’s on cruise control. The other feature I don’t like is the auto on and off every time you come to a full stop; the entire engine shuts off all that does is put more wear and tear on the engine and the starter.
The interior is not very quiet and after a couple of months of driving, the SUV has developed two or three different types of rattles inside the cabin somewhere.
This might be the smallest car that Cadillac makes but it feels really solid and well built. Seats are comfortable, visibility is excellent, gauges are clear and easy to read, it drives and handles really well. The engine is okay, I just wish it had V6 option, but the turbo 4 provides adequate power. Cargo area is fine for my needs. It's a very stylish little crossover. Love the giant panoramic sunroof.
It's roomier inside than you might imagine, I'm very tall and the drivers' seat goes waaay back, so you tall drivers will easily fit in this car, even with the panoramic sunroof option. I like to call this a "big little car" because it's just big enough to accommodate most peoples' needs but small enough that you can park it anywhere, it's only 181 inches long.
Gauges could be a little more upscale, why not a full digital dash like all car companies are doing.
