Customer Review Summary for Chevrolet Captiva Sport
Just right for me.
2014 Chevrolet Captiva SportPat - Gahanna, OH01/09/2015
This car is just the right size for me; it handles like a smaller car and the storage space is much larger than any trunk size on a regular car. The cabin feels right too, not like a cargo van. It is tall enough that you are able to see in parking lots around all of the huge suvs in the parking spaces and gives you a good view of the road. It gets about the same mileage as my old 6 cylinder Malibu, but this is a 4 cylinder engine, and if you are not in a hurry, has an eco button to help cut down on fuel usage.
I should have taken my time
2012 Chevrolet Captiva SportERICA JONES - Texas City, TX10/21/2017
When I first got the car a day later it started to jerk as if something was missing fire, then the radio was turning off by itself and making a really loud noise. I took it back they checked it out said it was ok. I took it back again this time they kept the car for several days again nothing was wrong with it well a week later same thing the 3days to return the car was long gone some BIRTHDAY gift to me.
2014 Chevrolet Captiva SportTom Mike - Portland, OR07/08/2015
This is a roomy compact FWD that sits high. Power is adequate and the transmission works very well. The leather seats are VERY firm but soften over time. With the LTZ model practically everything comes with the car and it all works.
One surprise though came this summer. When using the AC and driving uphill the engine "pinged". Turns out I had to go to a higher octane because of the "direct injection". For the same reason Top Tier gasoline is strongly recommended.
The onboard computer is wildly optimistic for mpg and remaining range. Nonetheless I have gotten 23-28 mpg. I recently drove to Sunriver, Oregon and back to Portland with the AC on the entire trip and got over 28mpg.
We like the ride, handling, room, and creature comforts.
There’s something about a car that goes vroom that can’t be beat. When you’re sitting behind the wheel of a powerful car, your heart races and your mind wanders to all the places you can go. There are plenty of used cars out there that deliver high horsepower for low prices.
