Fantastic power and handling and even reasonable fuel mileage period, never mind extremely reasonable for this engine size and power. When cursing around 70mph on flat roads you should see high-20s to almost 30mpg. City mileage not so good, gotta be gentle with throttle but where's the fun in that? Ride will not beat you up, this would be fun car to go cross-country with. Fly out and drive it home instead of paying that transfer fee :-)
About as practical as a 2 seat car can be. It will handle a kiddo *if* they are in a front-facing car seat, booster, or big enough to use normal seat belt. I've done it, and owners manual says it's ok. Hatch area is LARGE it will be easy to handle week of groceries, target run sort of shopping.
Too Much Fun
2012 Chevrolet CorvetteKen Brewer - Katy, TX03/02/2016
Really fun car to drive, fantastic value. Good size cargo area surprisingly. Will get decent fuel mileage with a light throttle foot (cruise is often 25-29mpg indicated at highway speeds). Will haul a kiddo in forward facing car seat or booster (keep eye on airbag off light, and read manual to be safe). Pretty darned fast if you have a heavy foot, be careful and smart with it! Keep racing at tracks designed for it please. Ride is firm for good handling but not so much to beat you up over long distances. Eats up miles, great tourer.
Best Purchase Ever!

From the moment you walk up to this car, have a seat and push the start button you are in love. I've owned several sports cars and this one is the best by far. The selective ride controls are amazing as they change everything from the way the car sounds, the ride and steering. It satisfies every part of my driving experience. You can't beat the MPG or the performance. Wow!
