The Volt is a comfortable, efficient car that lets you save money on your commute by running on battery yet with its gas engine gives you the range to take road trips or run extra errands on top of the daily drive. The hatchback makes it flexible - you can carry a lot of stuff in this car if you need to. Best of all I only need to fill the tank every couple of weeks.
I love this car! If anything happened to it, I would HAVE to have another one! We are averaging over 140 MPG. I also have a 2014 GMC Terrain, and I can testify that I can get just about as much stuff in the Volt as the Terrain with the seats folded down. I love the fact that it is a hatchback. The car rides as smoothly as any Park Avenue and Cadillac DTS, and I have owned more than 1 of both those cars. The car is fun to drive and somewhat of a toy. I enjoy seeing just how far I can make a charge last. I love being able to store the electric power and use gas when I am on the highway. Awesome, awesome automobile!!!
I would recommend this car based on the size, handling and price. It feels way larger inside than similar priced cars (Civic, Focus, etc). While it does not have Bluetooth for music use it does have an aux port so I can listen to my audiobooks over the speakers. The car does have Bluetooth for hands free calling and the calls are crystal clear and the controls are easy to use. I also appreciate that the rear seats will completely fold down if I need extra trunk space (however the trunk is very large). Almost forgot... this car has a timing chain instead of a timing belt so that is one less thing we will have to be weary of as we plan on keeping this car for 150k+ miles.
