My favorite!
PROS
Fuel Economy
I bought my all electric vehicle just as gas prices skyrocketed this year (2026). I have enjoyed simply plugging in at night and charging up to 50 miles overnight
Braking
I love the one pedal driving option, which applies the energy recovery system as you lift your foot off the accelerator. I often allow this feature to serve as a break when I approach stoplights, applying my brake only after I come to a full stop. This feature preserves brakes and recovers energy at the same time.
Power
Because the vehicle is light and entirely electric, there is no lag time. Acceleration is immediate.
CONS
Ride and Handling
The suspension is not meant for extremely bumpy rides. This is a city car.

perfect city car
PROS
Interior Space
despite being such a compact car the Bolt has a much larger feel inside. The tall roof and the large windows really help it feel airy and open belying its size and it feels simple but modern. Nice center screen/infotainment!
Power
The Bolt is very zippy with ample, instant power especially around town. Is it FAST? No but it is definitely quick and kinda fun. charging speed could be faster but if you charge at home Level 2 it’s fine. Range is pretty much as advertised.
Ride and Handling
Very smooth and comfortable ride for a small car, one of my biggest surprises. And it’s also very quiet which is nice, not a ton of road and wind noise.
CONS
Seat Comfort
One small niggle is if you are wide hipped the seat might not be very comfortable. the seats are a bit narrow and the plastic frame around the bottom cushion can be felt through the seat if you aren’t sitting exactly centered or if you’re a bigger person I imagine. Not a big deal for me personally and otherwise the front seat is fine. the rears are perfectly adequate tho and have decent legroom.
