I have always been a truck girl. Since I moved pretty far from work, it was time to downsize. I love that it's heavy and "chunky"!!! It's a super smooth quiet ride, but still sporty and durable! It is such a perfect combination of all things great! Car feels tight.. but still gets up and goes... quickly! I have the SXT Plus. Love the large screen, roomy back seat, and the style is amazing! I feel safe in this car which is a HUGE HUGE HUGE deal for me! You won't be disappointed buying this car!!

Because its a beast! Its got a ton of power, its fun, its the best looking new muscle car. Gas mileage sucks I get about 300 miles to my 18 gallon tank bah! but the new challengers go into 4 cylinders on the freeway so it makes it better. The back seat doesnt have much room but there is a ton up front.
Overall, I'm very happy with my Challenger. I've wanted one since they were announced as coming back, and I got a good deal on a the base V6 model. I really like the machine and driving feels nice and powerful. The trunk leaves something to be desired, and I'm not 100% sure why they placed the battery inside the trunk, which isn't able to be opened without battery power. If your battery dies, you'll either have to climb inside the trunk from the cabin, or jump the car from the front. Minor issues aside, it's comfortable and recommended for the wannabe car enthusiast who doesn't quite have the money, expertise or desire to go into the full-on V8 powerhouse vehicle range.
Dodge Challenger Overview
Recent editions of the Dodge Challenger ensure that this classic muscle car stands up to modern-day refinement and interior standards without sacrificing performance. The current Challenger offers strong acceleration, and its upscale character and control will ensure the car drives well on a daily basis.
Dodge Challenger History
The first generation of the Dodge Challenger was one of the more significant cars to come out of the 60s and 70s. A new version of the Challenger was introduced four decades later with the same core values, and it's clear that the vehicle still enthralls its original demographic. The Challenger emphasizes acceleration and muscle, with current generations of this vehicle beckoning back to its predecessors, but with a modernized interior and technology.
How It Drives
The current Dodge Challenger lives up to expectations and offers strong acceleration with either its V8 or V6 engine. Though it may be more truck-like to drive on tight roads, its luxurious interior and stylish exterior will more than compensate. With firm suspension, revised steering, and upgraded brakes, the vehicle will be great for daily use.
Used Dodge Challenger Value
Because so few Dodge Challengers were made or sold, the 1970s versions are highly sought after by collectors. The 2008 release of the Dodge Challenger has inspired success by keeping the same core values that the original has, while modernizing them for this current generation of drivers. Used car consumers will find that the acceleration and luxurious driving experience are well worth the price tag. Against frontrunners in its segment, like the Ford Mustang or the Chevrolet Camaro, the Challenger remains offered only as a coupe with no convertible option.
Dodge Challenger Standard Features
All Dodge Challengers come with powerful engines that support rear-wheel drive. The Dodge Challenger has ample passenger space and impressive luggage capacity. All Dodge Challengers come standard with a full complement of stability controls. Recent models have upgrades for the suspension, steering, and braking system, resulting in a Challenger with control to support its power.
