Owned it 3 months and needed transition lines, all 4 new tires because of dry rot, oil change as soon as I got it, fuse box lid was cracked, passenger side visor was dangling from a wire, new wipers, new battery, and right before I totaled it the electric in the whole car was going in and out. It saved my life in the accident though with all of the air bags.

I've wanted one since they were announced as coming back, and I got a good deal on a the base V6 model. I really like the machine and driving feels nice and powerful. The trunk leaves something to be desired, and I'm not 100% sure why they placed the battery inside the trunk, which isn't able to be opened without battery power. If your battery dies, you'll either have to climb inside the trunk from the cabin, or jump the car from the front. Minor issues aside, it's comfortable and recommended for the wannabe car enthusiast who doesn't quite have the money, expertise or desire to go into the full-on V8 powerhouse vehicle range.

Transmission: Manual 6 Speed Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.625 reviews) I bought the car new in 2009 when I was mid 40's. I have never actually "Loved " to drive a vehicle prior to owning an SRT8 Challenger. After years of full sized SUV's and Pickups it was a huge difference. The car is incredibly comfortable to sit in, drive, crank music and of course - drive fast. It's really exhilarating from 20-70mph. Total rocket sled. Also very fun from a stop in 1st gear with auto stick launch. The computer shifts at every red-line and barks the tires in 2nd gear even with traction control on. Complete disengagement of traction control is achieved by holding button down a 2nd time for >10 seconds for a second set of tones. Must be stopped or idling <5mph. Super fun ride.

Sporty

Smooth and sporty car, best in its class in my opinion. Great gas mileage especially when u put an short ram intake in. Not to big of a difference I get about 3-4miles miles more to the gallon but I recommend getting rid of the stock. I actually ran a 2 test on my stock Vs short ram. I just used my Trip A and rest it when I change and filled up my intakes. And I notice the short ram was getting me better gas mileage, so I highly recommend this vehicle.

Love My 'Christine'

I've owned some nice cars before, but I receive compliments on my R/T literally EVERYWHERE I go since I mounted her wide summer tires on chrome rims. Just a subtle touch, but completes her look and puts her over the top! I can understand it happening at cruise nights and car shows because you expect to meet enthusiasts, but anywhere from gas stations to dining out to even going to the store, I receive many kind words wherever I go! For a V-8, she gets excellent gas mileage. She may not be the fastest car I've owned in the quarter mile (she's still largely stock), but she has excellent top end. Haven't had the nerve or an empty enough stretch of highway to find out her top speed yet. The important thing is her reliability and comfort!

Solid, Efficient, and sporty

The Dodge dart has enough weight to it to the ride is smooth, and quiet when on the highway, the gas mileage is very satisfying, I drive over 1000 miles a week for work, and I still only spend a maximum of 40 dollars a week on transportation, also not to mention the design isn't ugly at all like some efficiency vehicles, the only downfall I can think of is the Bluetooth is hard to setup, and the horsepower is a little low, but that's about it.
