As a midsize crossover SUV with plenty of options for singles, couples, business owners and families, the Dodge Journey Crossroad Plus trim was offered for the 2016 and 2017 model years. The mid-high trim package added a number of standard and available features, including a range of technology options, seating options, available powertrain upgrades and similar features. A range of different seating arrangements gives the Crossroad Plus plenty of ways to get your family around town, including available integrated children's booster seats. A: The Dodge Journey Crossroad Plus comes standard with seating for five, with a standard six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, but also has an available Flexible Seating package which, when equipped, adds a 50/50 split fold-flat reclining third-row seat that expands the crossover's seating capacity from five to seven. Other packages add heated front seats, an easy entry Tilt 'n Slide® 40/60 split-fold reclining second-row seat and two optional built-in child booster seats.

A: When properly equipped, the Dodge Journey Crossroad Plus is capable of towing up to 2,500 pounds, providing enough capability for a small toy hauler, pop-up camper or trailer.2 With the second- and available third-row seats folded flat, the Crossroad Plus has 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space, but there are plenty of other thoughtful cargo features, such as two in-floor cargo compartments in the second row that can each carry up to 12 cans of soda with ice, with removable, washable liners.

The five-passenger models include a tri-fold load floor with an additional in-floor storage compartment. Flipping the fold-flat front passenger seat reveals a hidden compartment for tablets, cameras and other electronics. Storage pockets in all four doors include drink holders, with two more cup holders in the second-row fold-down armrest and two more in the rear quarter panel trim for third-row passengers. Standard leather seating makes cleanup a breeze.
