Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (3.867 reviews) This is a great family vehicle. Is it an SUV, mini van, or wagon? Dont know and dont really care. What I do know is its comfortable, drives smooth, has great hp (the 6 cylinder), and has enough bells and whistles to make it feel like a luxury vehicle. Remote start, heated seats and steering wheel are wondurful in the winter, not to mention the AWD. So many hidden storage compartments and a fold away 3rd row seat to fit the whole family. Althouh the body is a bit odd, I still feel pretty manly in it given the near 300 hp. As for the cons, mpg is not very good, and it h few blind spots that will take some getting used to. 3rd row seat will really only work for small children given lack of leg room.

I had a Dodge Ram 1500 4WD V8 before, and this Journey has every bit the feel of power and solid performance that my truck did.

worst car I've ever owned

I've had starting problems with this car since I bought it in 2010. It's been in/out of the Dodge Dealership every year (average every 6 months). New ignition, new starter, etc. It still will not start up without covering the brakes, shake the drive shaft, put into neutral and repeat the previously mentioned tasks. Thank God for the extended warranty.

Should have purchased the Jeep!

This car has spent more time in the shop then on the road. Transmission problems, electric issues, and poor quality control. I wanted to love this car but it was a huge mistake. On paper it really has all the features you want, in practice it falls short.

Dodge Journey 2012

I thought maybe I would grow to like it but I havent. I can't take long rides with my children and back a bag. I have to have my children squeeze in one seat to fit grocerys in the vehicle. So if it is for space. I wouldn't say go for it.
