2012 Dodge JourneyJohn Richard - Sterling, VA03/24/2017
Overall the 3.6L V6, 283 horsepower AWB SUV is a full package- I've had a few hiccups with it, but the pros far out weight the cons. I had a Dodge Ram 1500 4WD V8 before, and this Journey has every bit the feel of power and solid performance that my truck did.
V6 engine is more than adequate mated to 6 speed trans. RT model with full power so far we really like vehicle. Navigation with big touch screen is great. The biggest drawback to this vehicle is no power lift gate, I prefer to use both hands when closing which is difficult with packages in hands. 5 star rating if it had power lift gate, sometimes very inconvenient, we didn't realize how much we miss that feature until we no longer had it. Do not understand why Dodge left this feature off this vehicle, hard to compete in class without it.
Should have purchased the Jeep!
2015 Dodge JourneyIan P - Portland, OR02/26/2017
This car has spent more time in the shop then on the road. Transmission problems, electric issues, and poor quality control. I wanted to love this car but it was a huge mistake. On paper it really has all the features you want, in practice it falls short.
