I purchased the V-6 Titanium model and glad I did. A week after buying the car, we drove to Yellowstone, which was 16 hour one way drive. The Edge handled four of us fully loaded, no problem, I've taken it to Tahoe several time and it has plenty of power to handle the grades up I-80 or hwy 50. It drives so smoothly - no vibrations and very quiet. I also use it as my daily drive and find it easy to maneuver through traffic or parking lots. I compared the Edge to the Acura RDX and the Edge won in so many ways--more power, smoother quieter ride, nicer interior, more options, and for about $8k less. Overall The Edge is a great small SUV.
I am a previous owner of a BMW X5. had it for about 5 years. I was in love with the big wheels, the panoramic sun roof and the sit up high command that I had when driving. The maintenance was overbearing and I was heartbroken when I traded for a Mercedes C300. A year later I decided to drive the EDGE SPORT....WOW!!!! The same feeling I got when I drove my BMW ...was back again. "Ford has stepped up" and I'am driving proof
The Ford Edge has plenty of space. The cargo area behind the second row seats is huge. The second row seats easily will fit two humongous car seats or one car seat in the center with plenty of room on both sides. The Heat/AC that is available in the second row really helps keep our little one comfortable. We absolutely love the panoramic sunroof it gives a little guy plenty to look at while we are on the road, however if the Sun is out with a push of a button we can close it for shade. The Creature Comforts of the front two seats are great with independent air conditioning and heating controls and independent heated seats. With the ability to set each seat to a key also makes it easy when hubby and I change out for the day. Love my Edge
