2012 Ford Explorer Liz Smith - Bowie, MD 03/22/2017This car is just more. More room for passengers, more slick gadgets and features, but also more gas consumption. I was driving a Prius but as I get older I find it harder to hoist myself out of it, and if I was next to an SUV I couldn't really see what was around me when driving. Now, I'm the one blocking other's view.
Picked the Wrong Car!
2013 Ford Explorer Cecelia Booker - Bartlett, TN 09/13/2016The power steering has gone out 3 times in less than a year. While the service departments in Memphis and Illinois have been great, the headache of being on the road and the car breaking down is just too much! The computer system had a fatal error and then the air went out, had to get a new compressor. I finally had enough! Cutting my losses and going to take the loss on a trade to get out of it, I can't deal with this "hoping" my car does not break down from day to day.
Great family crossover option
2013 Ford Explorer L. - Flatonia, TX 04/28/2015This car has lots of great if built in features even at our base model. Third row is built to fit adults, car seats or kids with ease. The step in height is low enough to not need a step but large enough to be up with a good view. Compact enough to fit in small parking spots and maneuver in the city but large enough to handle our pasture roads and all our baby and kid gear.
