All the capabilities of a standard f150 with additional perks that other trucks do not have. Wider wheel base provides stability off road during aggressive turns. The 6.2L engine is plenty of power to get you up to 60...or 80... as quickly as you need to enter the freeway. Interior is unmatched with the two tone leather, hands free functionality, sun roof, sliding rear glass, and more amenities than I need but love having. Very capable off road and an absolute blast to drive. Most miles are highway but the vehicle is very smooth on pavement and surprisingly quiet despite the 35 inch all terrain tire. Very consistent gas mileage averaging about 13+ combined since I bought it.
I am tall and the legroom makes you feel like your in a living room chair. It's a pleasure to drive. Not to many vehicles provide legroom for tall drivers but Ford got it wright on this truck. It has as much room as the Mercedes S500. Great job on giving drivers over 6'3" or taller the comfort we been looking for. I was going to get a GMC truck until I sat in the Ford F-150 it changed my mind right away brought it the same day.
Realistically, I'm not sure I would recommend it. It's neither great nor totally subpar. Just meh. After 6 months of ownership it feels like my previous two trucks (Toyota Tundra and Chevy Avalanche) were a better built vehicles. There is a brake recall regarding the master cylinder that is nearly a year old that Ford does not have a fix for yet. It is easy to tell that Ford is only concerned with getting these trucks manufactured as fast as they can to maintain market share without a huge concern for quality.
