2012 Ford FiestaH H - Hoffman Estates, IL06/22/2015
Good car for a good price. Gets about 30-35mpg. Comes with heated seats, which honestly was the selling point for me after finding out it was in good condition. It's a great size. Not too small or big. Easy to park. The hatchback does limit trunk space, but I don't carry a lot, so nbd.
It's had two recalls on it now, one before I bought it (which I was well informed about) for an airbag deployment issue, and one soon after I bought it for a door lock issue.
The headrests on the seats are kind of awkward; they force your head down and have little to no support for your neck, so I had to put a neck pillow in to make it more comfortable. This could just be because I'm fairly tall. The seats might be better suited for a shorter person.
Terrible transmission, great visitility
2015 Ford FiestaJudith Campbell - Houston, TX04/30/2016
I've only owned this car 4 months, but I've had it to the dealer three times for work on its transmission. I'm still hoping they will be able to straighten out the problem, but at least it's still under warranty. I bought it primarily because of its great visibility - the rear seat headrests even tilt down to create better view through the rear window.
Best-handling car I've ever driven
2015 Ford FiestaT Shults - Greenville, SC02/19/2016
Over 43 years of buying cars, and this is the best-handling car I've ever driven (including two Mazda Miatas). when your right foot goes to the floor, the road had better be clear because you will be gone! The brakes are right-now direct, and the features are outstanding. Get the Recaro seats on the ST and it's like you're velcro'd into the car (which is really good when cornering hard). The 6-speed manual shifts like a knife through honey. Bottom line, if you like to drive, get a Fiesta ST.
