Reviews for Ford Fiesta
Transmission problems
I purchased this exact car (Literally the one in the pics!) and it had transmission problems that we were told is normal. When shifting from 1st to 2nd gear it sometimes felt like we were in a rodeo, as well when coming to a slow stop or accelerating slowing it sounded like someone was kicking an aluminum can. Again we were told this was normal and due to the CVT transmission. I looked into the "problem" and found many others that are having the same issue and that the term "normal" is not correct that it is a known problem with the transmission in the Fiesta, and the Focus. Please research the transmission before purchasing.
Pros
- Technology and Entertainment: Great features
Cons
- Reliability: Transmission problems
Amazing experience with CarMax.
This car had changed my life for the better. Shopping with them was a great time, everyone employee was extremely helpful. They don’t hide certain things, they’re very upfront and clear about the process. My car has ran amazing ever since I bought it. I’ve had no issues. If you need a car go to car max!
Pros
- Value: It was a great price!
- Ride and Handling: Drives smooth and have no issues steering.
- Fuel Economy: I get amazing gas mileage!
Cons
- Braking: Brakes could be better but I’m sure they aren’t brand new.
- Interior Space: It’s a good size, maybe a little small for my liking.
- Technology and Entertainment: I there’s no Bluetooth so you need an AUX.
NIce on gas mileage, and fun to drive (Stick)
This car was great on gas mileage. I had the terrible experience of an accident. The airbags deployed, both steering wheel, and knee. The car was totaled. I walked away with a gash under my thumb, and bruises. So, with that said, it's was my sons car, who is 18. We bought another Ford Fiesta for him, just because of the safety features. Gas mileage is a plus.
Pros
- Fuel Economy: Great on gas mileage
- Safety: It saved me, from getting broken bones, airbags, do work. Don't recommend anyone trying, but I've proven it, by an accident.
