Do not buy the focus with the "automatic transmission". It's not a true automatic, it's actually a manual transmission that shifts itself. However it's a flawed design and very problematic. The clutches slip, it will shake the front end of the car during acceleration, and make loud grinding noises during shifts sometimes. Ford has no 100% solution to solving these issues, they start by reprogramming the transmission computer but that doesn't help, then they will order a new clutch pack for it but that takes twelve weeks to arrive and still is not a 100% fix. If you want a focus, buy the true manual version of the car. The engine is great, pretty strong and fuel efficient. The ford sync works pretty decent.
Amazing car all around!

For the money you spend you get lots and lots of car. How does 252hp, a turbo charged six speed manual, and a fully loaded car all for under $30k sound? I love my ST! I have put good money into the car and plan on more. It is incredible from the recaro seats to the exhaust notes.
THE CAR SUCKS
2013 Ford FocusJoy Hopes - Austin, TX07/13/2016
THE CAR SUCKS I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO ANYONE.
IT'S WAY TOO SMALL!! SO I would never recommend the car to anyone especialley to someone who has children.
This is not a family vehicle!! I have two children in car seats and they have no room, I also have a double stroller that can't fit in my trunk so I have to put it in the front seat. The car is always playing catch up so you can't jump in FAST traffic!! DON'T GET THIS CAR
