Transmission: Manual 6 Speed Color:Yellow Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) The car has some weird kinks about it. My main concern since ownership has been the hesitation when accelerating. The manufacturer explained the car has been designed with a clutch feature- but to me it just feels like the transmission is failing. The car jerks EVERY time I accelerate and even after maintenance to minimize this, it seems to have gotten worse. There is no quietness about this car, the engine runs loudly and radio seems to be blasting when only leveled at 4. The car is great on gas though, I only fill up about once weekly.

I definitely recommend it, if you drive a lot or even long distances, other than that. I've got nothing. It's not a family car what so ever. Back seat has no room at all. It's a very small car. the only way I recommend it, is if you don't have a family. For a single person. It's great. But that's about it.

About the Ford Focus ST

Vehicle Summary

Few cars capture the excitement of a hot hatch in such a practical size, but the Ford Focus ST is a popular choice because that's exactly what it does. High-performance, racing-inspired suspension, tires, and body kits give the Focus ST a distinctive look from other models in the Focus family. The Focus ST spans from 2013 through 2018, with a refresh in 2014. The Ford Focus ST sports a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission. If you're looking for a car that offers lively performance but room for day-to-day living, the Ford Focus ST might be your ideal car.

The Ford Focus ST got a refresh for the 2014 model year, upgrading the front grille and headlight shapes. All Focus ST models include RICARDO®-cloth racing seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch custom wheels, and the unique Tangerine Scream Metallic tri-coat paint. The 2013 Ford Focus ST gets an estimated 23/31 mpg city/highway fuel economy.1

Fun to drive.

This car is a lot of fun to drive. I never really considered buying a Ford (I've owned mostly Hondas in the past), but I needed 4 doors. My previous vehicle was a 2005 Civic SI Hatchback. I loved that car. The Focus handles very well, and goes fast when you want it to. The additional gauges on the dashboard seem a bit unnecessary and are a little distracting.
