If you're not ready to go full EV then this is your car. If you are somewhat careful, you can get great mileage. Better than what was stated on the website. Smooth ride and quiet too. Trunk is on the small side because of the battery bank. A big problem is there is no spare tire or donut. Having problems locating a donut to fit. There is space under the carpet for a donut though. A Ford dealer said they did not come with that option. During hurricane Ian we picked up a piece of metal and spent 22 Hours waiting for a tow. Could not use the flat slime kit as it was missing the valve stem puller that is needed to inject the slime into tire (only if a small puncture)

Pros

Cabin Noise: Very quiet
Fuel Economy: Better than expected.
Seat Comfort: Very comfortable

Cons

Cargo Space: Trunk on the small side, because hybrid batteries take up a lot of space.
Technology and Entertainment: Warning signals scare you if not expecting them.

I've had my Fusion Hybrid for about 4,000 miles now, and have almost nothing negative to say about it. Mine is the Titanium trim, so it comes with all the bells and whistles. I can't name any luxury or driver assist features that aren't on this thing that would be on something like a lexus. The hybrid features are also seamlessly integrated. The switch between gas and electric and between regular or regenerative braking is utterly seamless. The only indication that it happened is from the feint engine noise and the guages. I had the car checked out by my mechanic after I got it and I checked the oil myself once I hit 3,000 miles. I'm happy to say it got a clean bill of health in both cases.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Handling is actually kinda sporty, and the ride is smooth.
Technology and Entertainment: All the bells and whistles are on the titanium. They're all easy to use and intuitive.
Reliability: Naturally aspirated and Ford has been making these for awhile. Far as hybrids go it should last quite some time.

Cons

Power: Its quick from a dead stop but passing on hills or at highway speeds takes a lot of power.
Fuel Economy: For a midsize sedan it's unbeatable. For a Hybrid it's mediocre.

Great on Gas as it is a Hybrid but be prepared to sacrifice some performance and initial movement. There is already rattling in the console, the touchscreen malfunctions, ( i drove away and the rear view camera was still on, then the beautiful blue screen of death), the headroom getting in and out is disastrous (and I'm just 5'8"), the forward side columns create a challenging blind spot, the adaptive cruise control sensor is too sensitive or easily "Blocked". I mean come on, most drivers will use the cruise on a long journey, on the highway where there are bugs etc. It is so annoying. The seating in the back could be a little higher. The touchscreen, when functioning is too bright at night (even when on dimmest setting), The in-dash Nav should have the speed limit on the inside so your hand on the steering wheel doesn't block the view. The map in navigation is not up to date. You have to plug in your iPhone to use your Google or iPhone nav (so if it's already charged...Yeah.) There's distortion in the rear glass sometimes when looking in the rear view mirror. I have always wanted to do better for the environment, first time I could afford it. I had a Fiesta before and it had just as much power and pep.

Pros

Fuel Economy: Roomier, quieter, fuel economy. Decent sound system.
Ride and Handling: Corners pretty good but I've always taken corners differently than most. Slow down before, engage engine inside.
Cabin Noise: Fairly quiet ride

Cons

Power: Pulls off from a stop like a walk-behind lawn mower. Visibility challenges.
Technology and Entertainment: Malfunctioning equipment at 40k.? Come ON! Map is not up to date.
Cargo Space: The compromise in the trunk sucks. I cant fit the same two suitcases that i did in my old Fiesta!
